Marc Skinner disclosed prior to our match against Arsenal last weekend that both Ella Toone and Gabby George will be sidelined for several weeks due to injuries.
Toone is dealing with a hip problem, while George is in recovery from a calf injury. Both players missed the game against Arsenal and are expected to be unavailable for the upcoming match as well.
The situation with Leah Galton is less clear, as she also missed the journey south due to a persistent back issue.
In the previous match, Jayde Riviere received a red card after picking up a second yellow just after the hour mark. However, she will be eligible to play in this game since her one-match suspension only pertains to league matches and will be served during our next WSL encounter against Aston Villa.
As always, Skinner may share additional fitness updates during his pre-match press conference, which is scheduled for Friday morning.
