“No, they’re not available for this match,” the boss stated during his pre-match press conference on Friday afternoon when asked about Fernandes and Mainoo.
“They are in recovery, and I don’t expect it to take much longer. Kobbie is likely to return sooner than Bruno.”
“I don’t want to specify how long Bruno will be out,” he elaborated when pressed about our captain. “I have an idea, but we’ll just have to wait and see.”
The media also inquired about the status of centre-backs Matthijs de Ligt and Harry Maguire, both of whom have been dealing with injuries in recent weeks.
