    <p>Following an exciting week of action in the qualifiers, the draw for the 2026 World Cup play-offs occurred on Thursday, November 20, in Zurich. England and Scotland have already secured their spots for the North American tournament next year, while hopes remain alive for Wales, Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, and 13 other nations. A total of 16 teams will compete in the draw, which includes 12 runners-up from the qualification groups and four additional teams that qualified through the Nations League.</p>

    <p>In March, eight semi-final matches will take place, followed by four finals to determine which teams will qualify for the World Cup in Canada, Mexico, and the USA next year. The 16 teams involved in the draw are: Italy, Denmark, Turkey, Ukraine, Poland, Wales, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Republic of Ireland, Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kosovo, Romania, Sweden, North Macedonia, and Northern Ireland.</p>
