Cameroon kicks off their World Cup qualifying campaign on Wednesday afternoon with an away match against Mauritius. Key players such as Bryan Mbeumo and Andre Onana, who is currently on loan at Trabzonspor, are expected to participate. The team is currently trailing Cape Verde by four points in Group D. Additionally, they have a match against Angola scheduled for Monday.
On Thursday, Morocco will take the field against Bahrain, including Noussair Mazraoui in their lineup despite his recent injury keeping him out of domestic play. Following this friendly, they will prepare for a World Cup qualifying match against DR Congo on Tuesday.
Earlier that evening, Denmark, featuring Patrick Chinazaekpere Dorgu and Rasmus Hojlund (who is on loan at Napoli), will face Belarus. They have an important encounter with Greece looming ahead at home on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Brazil and Paraguay are in Asia for notable friendlies after successfully qualifying for the World Cup finals. Key players such as Casemiro and Matheus Cunha will represent Carlo Ancelotti’s side as they take on South Korea and Japan. Paraguay, in turn, has granted Diego Leon his first international call-up for matches against the same teams in reverse order.
Additionally, Manuel Ugarte will also compete in friendlies in Asia with Uruguay, as they prepare to face the Dominican Republic and Uzbekistan in Malaysia.
