WE HAVE A LOT TO WORK ON

“We secured three points, but if you analyze the game, we should have wrapped it up in the first half and taken control. Instead, we found ourselves battling until the very end due to our tendency to complicate things. In the first half, we had numerous scoring opportunities and felt we could dictate the match. However, one throw-in and one set-piece changed everything. It leaves me shaking my head because that’s just how football can be. This was a match we needed to win, but there’s still much to improve on.

“While securing these three points is crucial, we’ll learn more about our performance in the future. We should have managed the game better in the first half. It’s rarely straightforward, and we must keep fighting until the final whistle. I believe we’ve made it more complicated than it needed to be. For me, the priority is to keep pushing no matter the circumstances. We may play well at times, but we can also be too open, too quick, and lose possession. Nonetheless, the effort is always there.”

OPPORTUNITIES DURING THE INTERNATIONAL BREAK

“This break will be beneficial for us as we now have two weeks ahead. Just think about it; two weeks filled with various opportunities. Facing Fulham first, and then Arsenal: fighting until the last minute without securing a win would be tough on the team. That’s why it’s essential.”
