The draw for the Barclays Women’s Super League quarter-finals was held live on the league’s official TikTok channel, confirming matchups between Liverpool and Chelsea, as well as West Ham and Manchester City.
Manchester United, along with Arsenal and defending champions Chelsea, received a bye to this stage of the tournament due to their participation in the UEFA Champions League group phase.
This allowed United to bypass the group stage, which recently concluded, with the remaining five teams advancing to the knockout round as group winners.
Tottenham secured the top spot in Group E, earning eight points from three matches, including wins against Birmingham City and Bristol City, and a draw with Aston Villa, from which they gained an extra point by winning the subsequent penalty shootout.
The upcoming matches will see United host Tottenham in consecutive weekends leading up to the winter break, with a WSL game scheduled at the Progress With Unity Stadium on Sunday, December 14.
