The two clubs last faced each other in September 2019 during a first-team match, where United emerged victorious in a penalty shootout in the Carabao Cup after a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.
A similar approach was taken the following year to resolve an EFL Trophy encounter at the Crown Oil Arena, which ended in a scoreless draw.
