James Scanlon had a prime chance to score as the first half progressed, but despite finding himself in a one-on-one situation, Solihull goalkeeper Laurie Walker stood firm to thwart his effort.
The Reds took the lead in the 35th minute, as Jack Fletcher delivered an excellent low pass that sliced through the hosts’ defense, perfectly setting up Mantato.
Mantato charged forward, demonstrating impressive strength and skill to fashion the opportunity, before coolly slotting the ball into the net to score the first goal in the West Midlands.
However, our advantage lasted just seven minutes, as Sonupe managed to evade the offside trap and sprinted towards goal, calmly finishing to level the match.
Just two minutes later, Chris Millington’s team struck again after J. Fletcher was dispossessed in midfield. Oliver Tipton was quick to assist Lipsiuc, who tapped in at the back post.
