Today’s Major Transfer Updates
Real Madrid is reportedly eyeing Manchester United wing-back Diogo Dalot, amidst uncertainties regarding Trent Alexander-Arnold’s future, according to TeamTalk. The England international has found it challenging to secure a regular position under Xabi Alonso, making Dalot a potential successor for Dani Carvajal.
AC Milan director Igli Tare has confirmed that the Serie A club is in talks to extend Mike Maignan’s contract. The French goalkeeper’s current deal expires in June, and Chelsea seems to be interested. However, Tare stated to DAZN: “He’s a leader, a top guy. He’s happy at AC Milan, and we’d love to keep him. We are in active discussions.”
Bayern Munich centre-back Dayot Upamecano appears set to leave on a free transfer next summer. While Bayern continues to negotiate an extension, Foot Mercato reports that their latest offer does not meet his demands. There are indications that Real Madrid has a ‘verbal agreement’ with the 27-year-old, and Liverpool is also showing interest.
