18 players valued at over €100 million
As the 2025/26 season unfolds, Transfermarkt has published its latest market value updates this October, reflecting the exceptional performances of many players and the impact of a busy summer transfer window. Numerous young talents have significantly boosted their reputations, while several established stars have seen fluctuations in their values. We’ve curated an impressive compilation of the 100 most valuable players in the world. In cases where players share the same market value, the younger player is ranked higher.
The 100 Most Valuable Footballers in the World
At the top of the list is teenage sensation Lamine Yamal, who at just 18 years old boasts a market value of €200 million. In his young career, he’s already celebrated two LaLiga titles with Barcelona and a Euro 2024 victory with Spain, consistently impressing on both club and international stages. Close behind is Jude Bellingham, the 22-year-old midfielder for Real Madrid and England, valued at €180 million. Following him is Manchester City’s prolific striker Erling Haaland, also valued at €180 million. He edges out fourth-placed Kylian Mbappé, who shares the same valuation but is a year older. Vinicius Junior of Real Madrid ranks fifth, with a market value of €150 million after a €20 million decrease in the latest LaLiga update.
Barcelona’s 22-year-old midfielder Pedri ranks sixth with a market value of €140 million, closely followed by Bayern Munich’s talent Jamal Musiala, who shares the same valuation. Bukayo Saka, having faced a €10 million reduction, is now in eighth place at €140 million. Liverpool’s new signing Alexander Isak has risen to ninth place with a €20 million increase in value, also reaching €140 million. Rounding out the top ten is Florian Wirtz, who, despite a €10 million drop, retains a value of €130 million. An additional eight players are valued at over €100 million. Notably, the only player from outside Europe’s top five leagues to appear in the top 100 is Victor Osimhen of Galatasaray, who ranks 44th with a valuation of €75 million.
The graphic above illustrates the teams with the most players represented in the current top 100 MVPs. Arsenal leads with ten players valued collectively at €820 million, closely followed by Paris Saint-Germain, who also have ten players, but their combined value is €805 million. Real Madrid features nine players, while Barcelona, Liverpool, and Manchester City each have eight. Chelsea comes next with seven players, followed by Bayern Munich with six, Newcastle with five, and Inter Milan with four.
