Former Red Lauren James kicked off the scoring with a fantastic shot that found the top corner, followed by Georgia Stanway extending the lead just before halftime.
James scored again before it was Tooney’s time to shine in the 67th minute. Her former United teammate and friend, Alessia Russo, made a clever run, assessed her options, and passed the ball to Toone. Staying composed, Toone confidently struck a low shot past Daphne van Domselaar, the Dutch keeper.
