Just before the match began, Tommy was welcomed to the crowd by stadium announcer Alan Keegan, and the fans stood to give him a warm round of applause.
He had the privilege of watching the game from Sir Matt Busby’s former seat, a fitting honor for our special guest.
“My boots are in the car,” he joked with the club staff, “but I suppose I’ll just be sitting on the bench with all these new signings!”
