UNFORGETTABLE MOMENT
This season, as a pivotal creator for the Reds, it’s no easy task to highlight just one standout moment from Bizet’s dazzling performance in the 2024/25 campaign.
The 23-year-old not only made essential contributions during our WSL push for UEFA Champions League qualification but also played a key role in our FA Cup journey. She launched our quest for Wembley with a stunning hat-trick against West Bromwich Albion and followed up with two assists in a 3-1 quarter-final victory over Sunderland. However, it was her remarkable opener against our rivals, Manchester City, in the semi-final that will be etched in our memories.
The match was just getting underway when Ella Toone intercepted the ball near the halfway line. Spotting Bizet’s clever run on the right before anyone else did, the England international delivered a perfectly timed pass that split the defense.
As three defenders closed in on her, Bizet deftly managed to control the ball, quickly pivoting to create a shooting opportunity. With no hesitation, she curled a precise shot past the onrushing Khiara Keating. The Reds secured a 2-0 victory, advancing to the final, and Bizet was rightfully awarded the United Women’s Goal of the Month for April.
