Amorim was questioned about Shea Lacey, who has been an unused substitute on three occasions and is still waiting for his senior debut.
“At times, when Bryan [Mbeumo] isn’t available, I opt to play Amad in that position, as I have other wing-backs to consider, and it can be challenging,” he clarified. “So when you ask why I’m not putting Lacey in, it’s because I have other international players available on the bench.”
“My focus is on selecting the best and most prepared players for the team’s current situation and aiming to secure a victory. That’s my priority, everyone.”
Harry Maguire and Benjamin Sesko are expected to remain sidelined.
