Marc, can you share what this occasion will be like with our fans in attendance? How does it feel to have their unwavering support?
Skinner: “Our supporters are truly an incredible group. Looking back at the weekend against Everton, it felt as if they filled the entire stadium. We are committed to making progress, aiming to qualify for a European competition and offer our fans a chance to experience European football. It’s important to us, not only to compete against outstanding teams like Atleti, but also to provide our fans with memorable experiences. We’re going to give our all to win the match because they deserve it after investing their hard-earned money to support us. Hopefully, they’ll enjoy the game, and we’ll deliver a performance they can be proud of.”
Julia, you’ve had your share of Champions League nights. For some of the players in this United squad, it’s a new experience. Have any of them sought your advice? What have you shared with them?
Zigiotti: “Absolutely, I advised them to just enjoy it. Being in the Champions League is a significant achievement, but I encouraged them to treat it like any other match. We always aim to perform at our best and make our fans proud, so it’s essential to approach it like a regular game while relishing the opportunity to face different teams.”
