“When I checked the international fixtures for the season back in February, I noted that November 18 was marked as an official date,” Sir Alex shared.
“My son chose that date for his wedding, only to discover later that the fixture list had changed. Instead of having a weekend free, we’ll be playing against Manchester City—it’s the worst possible scenario for me.”
“The wedding will be held in Cape Town, so I can’t do much about it. The silver lining is that since it’s a morning match, I’ll be able to catch the game on TV while I’m in South Africa.”
