During the 2024/25 season, the Foundation made a significant impact on 41,289 young individuals across Greater Manchester, as well as in outreach areas of London, Carlisle, Derbyshire, and Northern Ireland. Our dedicated coaches provided over 49,000 hours of support through 125 different projects, resulting in a total of 517,304 free attendances for young people aged five to 18.
Hunter, one of the participants highlighted in our report, has taken the initiative to fundraise for the Foundation after experiencing the positive effects of the Ability Counts PAN-disability football programme.
He shared, “I wanted to give back after everything the Foundation has done for me, and I’ve raised over £2,000. I’ve gained new skills, become more sociable and confident, and developed my leadership abilities. I’ve made friendships that will last a lifetime, and I’m truly grateful for all the incredible opportunities I’ve received.”
