“They performed exceptionally well. I believe Ayden [Heaven] has a bright future ahead. He’s quite challenging to overcome and adjusts comfortably in the midfield.
“We are dealing with issues with Matta [Matthijs de Ligt] and Harry [Maguire]. Naturally, he requires more match rhythm to complete a full 90 minutes.
“At times, he plays in a man-to-man style in that role, and I thought he handled it admirably. It was a pleasure watching him with the ball; that was a standout aspect of the match.”
