“I’m not certain yet. I think Kobbie Mainoo may be unavailable, but we’ll assess the situation. We need to find solutions; there are no excuses. Our goal is to win the next match, and we will do everything in our power to achieve that.”
Prior to the match, you mentioned the importance of finding different ways to secure victories. With additional injuries, how can this be accomplished?
“We need to explore alternative solutions. We faced similar challenges last year. Having that experience might make it feel less daunting. We understand that, with the absence of these players, it will be tough, but we will do our best.”
Do you think you require immediate support to navigate this period without negatively impacting your results?
“We need to manage this situation. We can’t wait until January and try to scramble and make hurried decisions that could lead to more issues—we won’t end up in that position again. I won’t approach Jason [Wilcox, director of football] asking for a flurry of new players. If we have to endure some struggles, the club’s welfare comes first. While it’s true that we need points now, we will stick to our plan. It may seem like we’re in for a tough time, but we’ll see how it unfolds.”
