Though there isn’t a major senior international tournament happening this summer, the U21 European Championship in Slovakia showcases a wealth of talent. With the group stages concluded, we now know the eight teams that will compete in the quarter-finals this weekend. The matchups include Portugal U21 against the Netherlands U21 and England U21 facing Spain U21 on Saturday. On Sunday, Germany U21 will contest against Italy U21, while France U21 takes on Denmark U21. So far, the tournament has gone as expected, with the eight quarter-finalists representing the top eight squads based on their market value at the tournament’s start.
