While the Polish Ekstraklasa might not be the first league that comes to mind for nurturing football talent, it’s clear that the Polish top-tier is consistently producing outstanding players who are likely to play in Europe’s leading leagues in the near future. Following the recent Transfermarkt valuation update of the league, several emerging talents have been highlighted, reflecting the keen observations of our scouting team. Here are three prime examples of promising young players in Polish football who might soon become stars on the European stage.

Marcel Regula – Zaglebie Lubin

Marcel Regula, an attacking midfielder from Zaglebie Lubin, saw his market value significantly rise from €2.5 million to €5 million in the latest update. Regula, who can play both as a traditional winger and in an attacking midfield role, initially caught attention while playing for his club’s second team in Poland’s second tier, earning his promotion to the first team last season. In nine appearances, primarily as a substitute, he scored one goal and provided three assists. However, this season, he has established himself as a starter, contributing with four goals and four assists in 17 appearances across various positions, including right winger, central midfielder, and centre forward. At just 19 years old, Regula is definitely a player to watch as he attracts attention from bigger clubs across Europe.

Adrian Przyborek – Pogon Szczecin

Adrian Przyborek, another attacking midfielder, experienced a notable increase in market value, rising from €4 million to €7 million, making him the second most valuable player in the Polish Ekstraklasa. He has been playing predominantly in the middle or on the right wing. Przyborek first made a mark in the Polish top-flight at just 16 years old during the 23/24 season with 22 appearances. Since then, he has become a regular starter, contributing one goal and five assists in the following season, and significantly improving his output this year with three goals and two assists in 19 matches, all while captaining Poland’s U19 team. Recently, reports suggest interest from clubs like Benfica and Nottingham Forest, indicating that he could potentially break his club’s transfer record of €11 million.

Oskar Pietuszewski – Jagiellonia

Finally, we must highlight Oskar Pietuszewski, a 17-year-old left winger who saw a staggering €4 million increase in his market value, making him the highest-valued player in the Polish Ekstraklasa. Despite his youth, Pietuszewski has already scored three goals and provided two assists in 18 league games for Jagiellonia. Michael Sroka, the Poland Area Manager for Transfermarkt, praised him as “an incredible talent” with remarkable speed and technique. If Jagiellonia considers selling him in the upcoming January transfer window, he could be significantly younger than Kacper Kozlowski, who was sold to Brighton for €11 million four years ago. Jagiellonia reportedly turned down an €11 million offer from Anderlecht last summer, possibly due to ongoing rumors linking Pietuszewski to clubs like Arsenal and Manchester City for a 2026 move. His impressive performance extends to the U21 national team, with four goals and two assists in six Euro qualifying matches, indicating he may be one of the most exciting prospects to emerge from Poland in recent years.
