On Tuesday, Transfermarkt published its latest market value update for the Swedish Allsvenskan, revealing that many of the prominent movers in the league are exciting young talents establishing themselves in one of Europe’s most captivating leagues. As confirmed by Transfermarkt data last week, no other European top-flight league provided as much playing time to players aged 21 or younger as the Allsvenskan, a trend that is reflected in the updated market values throughout the division.

The current top five most valuable players in the league are all 23 years old or younger. Malmo winger Hugo Bolin ranks as the league's top player with a market value of €6 million, following a €1 million increase in this update. In second place is 22-year-old central midfielder Besfort Zeneli from Elfsborg, whose value rose by €1.5 million to €4 million. He is joined by 17-year-old attacking midfielder Love Arrhov, who has made a significant impact at Brommapojkarna, earning his first-ever market value of €4 million. Hammarby midfielder Markus Karlsson (+€1 million to €4 million) and Japanese left-back Keita Kosugi (+€2 million to €4 million) round out the top five most valuable players in the league.

Arrhov Leads U21 Talents in Swedish Allsvenskan

The table below highlights the most valuable players aged 21 and younger in the league. Notably, Arrhov is not just the third most valuable player overall but also the most valuable young prospect in Swedish football. Since making his debut for Brommapojkarna in late April, Arrhov has played 18 matches in five different positions for his team. His exceptional performances at just 17 years old caught the attention of Bundesliga powerhouse Eintracht Frankfurt, who have signed him for €4.6 million, although he won't officially transfer until January 2026.

In second place among U21 talents is left-back Keita Kosugi, who has been impressive at Djurgården. Having transitioned from Japan's Bellmare U18 team to the Swedish top-flight in March 2024, Kosugi has established himself as the starting left-back for Djurgården. His performances have attracted interest from Scottish Premiership club Celtic, and given Djurgården's track record for developing and selling young talent, a move to one of Europe's elite leagues seems imminent for Kosugi.

The rest of the top five consists of 19-year-old attacking midfielder Pontus Dahbo, with a market value of €2.5 million, thanks to his continued success in Häcken’s midfield. He’s joined by Hammarby right winger Montader Madjed, whose stellar performances in 2025 have resulted in five goals and two assists in 19 league matches, along with three goals in three cup games. Just below them is 20-year-old left winger Abdoulie Manneh, whose 2025 season has seen him score 10 goals and assists in 22 league matches, elevating his market value from €500,000 to €2 million since the year's start.

Scottish Talent Robbie Ure Thriving in Sweden

In addition, another promising young player making a mark in the Allsvenskan is Sirius centre forward Robbie Ure. After leaving Rangers’ youth ranks in 2023 for a stint in Belgium, Ure transferred to Sirius for €750,000 in March this year and has since enjoyed a successful run. In his first 23 matches for the club, he has contributed 10 goals and three assists, ranking among the top scorers and playmakers in the league this season. Ure's market value has surged by €1.1 million, reaching a new valuation of €1.5 million—a remarkable 275% increase since joining the club.

Understanding Transfermarkt Market Values

Transfermarkt market values are calculated using various pricing models, with a significant influence from the Transfermarkt community, which discusses and analyzes player values comprehensively. It’s important to note that Transfermarkt values should not be directly equated with transfer fees.

The values provide an estimated worth of a player in a free market rather than an exact price prediction, and numerous factors, including individual transfer modalities and situational conditions, affect these market valuations.
