TEAM UPDATE
Skinner’s squad appears to be gearing up for the new season with a fairly clean bill of health. In his pre-match press conference, the manager reported that the primary injury concerns are Rachel Williams and Leah Galton, both of whom are expected to be out for two to three weeks. Additionally, Grace Clinton is still under observation.
The upcoming match against PSV might mark a competitive debut for new signing Julia Zigiotti Olme, who joined from Bayern Munich over the summer. She has already participated in several pre-season matches, including games against Manchester City, Real Betis, and Liverpool, positioning her well for a strong start to the season.
Fridolina Rolfo is another new addition to United, but since she joined from Barcelona later than her fellow Swede, she has yet to make her first appearance for the Reds. It appears that the match against PSV may come too soon for her.
“We anticipate that Frida will likely be sidelined for two to three weeks,” Skinner informed the media. “She experienced a slight issue before the Euros and managed to play through it, but we want to ensure she can sustain her performance throughout the entire season.”
