WHAT’S ON THE HORIZON FOR AFCON?
Before we proceed, Mazraoui’s United teammates Amad and Bryan Mbeumo are set to wrap up their Group F matches with Ivory Coast and Cameroon, respectively.
Following their recent 1-1 draw on Sunday, both teams sit with four points each, making the race for the top spot intensify as they head into the third and final matches of the group stage, scheduled for 19:00 GMT tomorrow (Wednesday).
The Ivory Coast will take on Gabon, while Cameroon faces Mozambique, a team currently with three points that also has a chance to progress as group leaders.
After the results from Monday’s matches, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, and Mozambique have all secured their places in the round of 16.
