<p>Following the Major League Soccer update earlier this month, Transfermarkt has now made adjustments for the other major league in CONCACAF. A total of 116 players in Liga MX have seen shifts in their market values. Notably, US men’s national team striker Álex Zendejas has emerged as a significant benefactor, increasing his value from €8 million to €9 million. Meanwhile, Tigres UANL's Ángel Correa experienced a decline in value, dropping from €10 million to €9 million, allowing Zendejas to become the joint most valuable player in Liga MX.</p>

Even in the ongoing Apertura, where his performance has been less spectacular, Zendejas remains productive with 2 goals and 2 assists in nine league matches. His consistent play has once again secured him a position on the US men’s national team, which is in need of attacking options.”</p>

<p>The former FC Dallas player isn’t the only ex-MLS talent to make a splash in this market value update. Éfrain Álvarez, previously with LA Galaxy, transferred to the prestigious Chivas from Club Tijuana for $7 million (€6.85 million). Consequently, his market value has increased from €5.5 million to €6.5 million. Since joining his new team, Álvarez has contributed two goals and two assists across 12 games. Although his scoring might not be eye-catching, Álvarez's versatility in multiple positions adds to his market appeal.</p>

<h2>Liga MX Market Value Update – Sergio Ramos Records Another Decline</h2>

<p>Among the notable declines in the recent market value update was that of Sergio Ramos, the former Real Madrid captain now with CF Monterrey. The 39-year-old's value has dropped from €1.2 million to €1 million. When he first made his mark with Sevilla as an 18-year-old, his starting market value was €7 million. Thus, every decrease at this point in his career sets a new negative benchmark. Ramos isn’t the only player from Monterrey facing a decline; Lucas Ocampos also saw his market value fall by 8.3%, from €6 million to €5.5 million.</p>
