Transfermarkt is globally recognized for its market values, having provided player valuations for over 20 years. These valuations are calculated based on various metrics, reflecting real market trends. Following the end of the European football season in late May, Transfermarkt updated its values for all major leagues worldwide.

The 2024/25 season was exhilarating, with PSG crowned European champions for the first time after winning the Champions League. Liverpool secured their record-equalling 20th English top-flight title, Barcelona reclaimed the LaLiga title, and Napoli celebrated an unforgettable Scudetto victory on the dramatic final day in Italy. Despite the market updates, Real Madrid maintains its status as the most valuable club in the world. Below, you can find the 100 most valuable players globally!

The Top 100 Most Valuable Players in the World

All players in the top 100 are part of clubs in the top five leagues, and following the latest updates, Lamine Yamal has emerged as the new most valuable player in the world. The young Barcelona talent has seen an extraordinary rise over the last 18 months, with his market value increasing by €110m last season, reaching a total of €200m. This valuation has only been achieved by three other players in history: Kylian Mbappé, Erling Haaland, and Vinicius Junior.

As shown in the graphic above, this trio is included in the top five alongside Jude Bellingham, with three players from Real Madrid in the mix. While the Premier League is the most valuable league globally, only Bukayo Saka, Haaland, and new Liverpool signing Florian Wirtz represent the English top flight in the top 10.
