The midfielder last featured on December 15, coming off the bench during the exciting 4-4 draw against Bournemouth at Old Trafford.
Since then, he has been unavailable due to a calf injury he sustained prior to the match against Aston Villa. As a result, he missed the Boxing Day win over Newcastle United, as well as the 1-1 draws with Wolverhampton Wanderers and Leeds United.
