“I remind him every day that he’s turning 40 in just a few months! Tom Heaton is definitely my go-to answer. His character and experience make a huge difference, and he’s really helped me feel at home. Honestly, the entire goalkeeper group clicks well together. In larger clubs, it can sometimes be competitive since we all share the same role and ambition to play. However, there’s a genuine bond among us. It’s a very friendly atmosphere, and we’re committed to pushing one another to improve. That support was crucial for me when I first arrived.”
A DEEP APPRECIATION FOR UNITED’S LEGACY
Senne expresses genuine excitement when discussing the recent commendation from Sir Alex Ferguson.
“I came across it online, and at first, I could hardly believe it. Sir Alex is such a monumental figure, especially within this club, so it took me by surprise. But honestly, it felt incredible.”
When asked which United legend he would love to play alongside, Lammens points to Sir Alex’s former captain, Roy Keane.
