Alongside new signing Matheus Cunha, who will don the no.10 jersey, we’ve observed several number changes among the youth players in the squad.
Shea Lacey has shifted from no.72 to no.61, Bendito Mantato has moved from no.85 to no.70, and Reece Munro has swapped no.79 for no.65.
It’s important to note that since joining the EFL Trophy, additional squad positions have been made available at United, which are now assigned to Academy players in matches against senior teams. Both Lacey and Munro participated in our post-season tour of Asia, and it’s likely that our more experienced Academy players will be eager to secure a place on the upcoming trip to the USA for the Premier League Summer Series.
