Harrison, an England Under-19 international, is set to join Shrewsbury Town under the management of Michael Appleton. Appleton, a graduate of the United Academy, notably won the Player of the Year award at United in 1996. During his career at Old Trafford, he made two appearances for the first team before embarking on permanent stints with Preston North End and West Bromwich Albion.
