As the 33-year-old departs, he takes with him two winners’ medals from the squads that claimed the Carabao Cup and the Emirates FA Cup in consecutive seasons under Erik ten Hag; these victories represent some of his most cherished moments in a red shirt.
“There have been numerous wonderful memories, unforgettable matches, and a lot of special people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting during my time here,” Eriksen reflected. “Two trophies and, in addition, a handful of finals as well.”
