In our recent match at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, we experienced several injuries, with Benjamin Sesko, Harry Maguire, and Casemiro all needing to leave the field.
Casemiro has since returned to action with the Brazilian national team, playing a full match against Senegal at the Emirates Stadium where he scored a superb curled goal. He also featured for an hour against Tunisia in Lille shortly afterwards, indicating he should be fit for Monday’s match.
On the other hand, updates on Sesko, who missed international duties with Slovenia, and Maguire, who wasn’t included in Thomas Tuchel’s England squad, are still awaited. We expect that Amorim will address their statuses during his press conference on Friday afternoon.
Kobbie Mainoo was missing from our previous matchday squad, and Lisandro Martinez continues to follow a recovery plan after sustaining a serious knee injury. Further details regarding these two players may also be shared by Amorim.
