Ella expressed her feelings, stating: “Receiving an MBE is an extraordinary honor and a source of immense pride for me.
“Representing England and being part of a team that has secured the Euros title twice has significantly influenced the growth of women’s football. The memories I’ve created will last a lifetime, and those accomplishments are incredibly meaningful to me.
“This recognition is especially personal as I dedicate it to my father, who I lost to prostate cancer last year. He was my greatest supporter from the very first moment I kicked a ball, and I know he would be incredibly proud.
“As I continue to build my profile, my goal is to raise awareness about prostate cancer and the critical importance of early detection. I also want to give back by inspiring the next generation through the ET7 Academy.
“If sharing my journey encourages others to open up, get screened, or support emerging young talent, that would mean just as much to me as any achievement on the pitch.”
Congratulations, Ella! Everyone at Manchester United is extremely proud of you.
