This Tuesday, two European powerhouses clash in Istanbul in the Champions League. While Galatasaray may not boast the same European history as their opponents, the seven-time champions Liverpool, they are known for their passionate fanbase and the intimidating atmosphere of their RAMS Stadium, especially on thrilling European nights under the lights. The last encounter between these sides took place during the 2006/07 Champions League group stage, where Galatasaray triumphed 3-2 in Istanbul, followed by Liverpool's 3-2 victory at Anfield. Over the years, only 12 players have worn both the iconic orange of Galatasaray and the famed red of Liverpool. Curious who they are? Transfermarkt has all the details.

The 12 Players Who Have Played for Both Galatasaray and Liverpool
