UNDERSTANDING THE PREMIER LEAGUE SUMMER SERIES
Bournemouth is set to be the second of three teams we will compete against in the Premier League Summer Series, flanked by matches against West Ham and Everton.
The four participating teams will travel together to each of the three locations, with two matches taking place each day at the same stadium.
True to the format of the regular Premier League, each victory will earn a team three points, while a draw will result in one point, and a loss grants no points.
At the conclusion of the three matches, the team with the highest point total will be crowned the series winner. In the event of a tie on points, the teams will be ranked first by goal difference, then by total goals scored, and finally by head-to-head results. No extra time or penalty shootouts will occur in any match.
