That’s certainly the impression for those fortunate enough to have spent time with him since his move from Brentford. Bryan is just a regular guy… who happens to excel at football and has signed with his dream club.
He has relished the opportunity to bond with his new teammates at United, wearing the iconic red jersey and competing at Old Trafford. After training, he often unwinds on the sofa, pulls out his phone, and engages in a game of online chess.
When we had the chance to spend time with him a few weeks after his initial signing interview, we felt it was only fitting to set up a chessboard. We arranged a table in one of the two new MUTV studios at the renovated Carrington and welcomed him in. While it was a bit different from his home setup, the game remained unchanged.
