Leon, eager to make an impression, demonstrated remarkable intensity that drew a broad smile from Amorim, alongside the Academy players who were more familiar with these training scenarios.
Players often reminisce about their first training day at United, marked by intensity and skill—and this session was no exception. Ruben also made an effort to communicate with Leon in Spanish. The Paraguayan full-back, who is improving his English, likely appreciated the gesture.
Leon and fellow newcomer Matheus Cunha seemed to integrate swiftly, with Cunha’s finishing skills particularly standing out. He appeared comfortable among his new teammates.

Clearly, this is what both players and coaching staff have been anticipating: dedicated time to work, learn, and enhance their skills.
