This summer, the Club World Cup isn't the only international tournament taking place; the U21 European Championships are being held in Slovakia. This tournament has showcased some of the world's best young talent, culminating in an exciting final between England and Germany. Both of these European giants have lifted the trophy three times, and they'd previously faced each other in the group stages, where Germany won 2-1.

Germany has been particularly impressive, maintaining a perfect record throughout the tournament. They delivered an outstanding performance in the semi-finals, defeating France 3-0. Meanwhile, England had a rocky path through the group stages, advancing with only one win but managing to eliminate both Spain and the Netherlands in the knockout rounds. The England squad is the most valuable at the U21 Euros, worth €402 million, while Germany ranks fourth with €257 million. But which players make up the most valuable combined XI from these two finalists?

The total market value of this combined XI stands at €326 million, featuring seven players from England and four from Germany. Arsenal's Ethan Nwaneri is the standout player with a value of €55 million. Nwaneri leads a front three alongside Brajan Gruda and Nick Woltemade. The German striker has had an exceptional tournament, currently leading the goal-scoring charts with six goals and is reportedly linked to a €60 million move to Bayern Munich. Woltemade and Liverpool's Harvey Elliott are both in contention for the player of the tournament award, with Elliott joining Elliott Anderson and Archie Gray in the midfield.

Although Tottenham's Gray is not a starter for England in this tournament, manager Lee Carsley has opted to pair Bournemouth's Alex Scott with Anderson. Frankfurt's Nathaniel Brown is the only German player in the defensive line, joined by Jarrel Quansah. The Liverpool defender is projected to complete a €41 million transfer to Bayer Leverkusen following the tournament. The German side's goalkeeper, Noah Atubolu, is valued at €18 million.
