Regarding the AFCON topic, Amorim noted that the outcome for each player could vary since their respective countries have different match schedules and possibly different views on the situation.
“I can’t say it will be the same for every player,” the manager stated. “It really depends on the schedule of each national team. They have their own plans regarding when they wish to call up their players.”
“I anticipate making a decision today or possibly tomorrow, but we’re holding off until the last minute to see if we can have all the players available so we can select the best team for the game.”
