Shortly after Amorim’s debut match against Ipswich, he faced his third game in charge against Everton, Monday’s opponents, marking his first Premier League encounter at Old Trafford.

“First and foremost, I believe they are a stronger team now,” he commented on Everton, also acknowledging that United has evolved since last season.
“They [Everton] are quite compact. You might not see it in the results, but if you watch the matches, you’ll realize that the 3-0 loss to Tottenham [shakes head] was misleading. It was largely about set-pieces.”
