“Rather than focusing solely on his performance during the matches, it’s about what he can contribute to our team,” Amorim remarked about Sesko during the latter part of his press conference in advance of the 16:30 BST kick-off, when asked about the striker’s observations on the Premier League’s pace.
“For instance, in the game against Burnley, he displayed some movements, particularly inside the box, that we didn’t see with Josh [Zirkzee], [Matheus] Cunha, or even Rasmus [Hojlund] in the past.
“We have a player who enjoys making runs into the box for headers; he has the ability to run—it’s essential that we utilize his running capabilities more. He’s definitely going to improve.
“You can tell he’s aware that the pace is different, and he will adjust to it; perhaps facing City would be an excellent opportunity to start him!”
