Ruben recalled his message to United fans at Old Trafford at the conclusion of last season, when the team bounced back from their Europa League final loss by defeating Aston Villa at home. He had assured supporters that “good days are coming.”
Interviewer Harry Robinson asked if he felt more assured about that statement now, following some reflection and during a successful pre-season.
“Yes, there will be both good days and bad days,” he replied.
“But everything I’ve mentioned regarding the club’s organization and the goal of bringing in players with a specific character is not solely the coach’s responsibility; it’s a broader club initiative.”
