Ruben’s Reds ended in a 2-2 draw against Sean Dyche’s Forest in a thrilling Premier League match on Saturday afternoon, marking a year since Amorim was appointed as head coach.
Casemiro gave United the lead in the first half at The City Ground, and it seemed like Amorim’s special day could culminate in a victory. However, Forest mounted a strong second-half comeback that changed the course of the match.
After the break, the home team scored twice in quick succession, but despite the dramatic turn of events, Amorim’s squad held their composure and secured a point thanks to a fantastic late equaliser from Amad.
