Gabon advances to the play-offs, where they will take on Nigeria. In another match, Cameroon, featuring Bryan Mbeumo and Andre Onana, will face DR Congo, with both ties set to take place in Morocco next month.
The eventual winners will need to navigate an inter-confederation play-off in order to qualify for the summer tournament.
Noussair Mazraoui did not participate as Morocco, who have already secured their place in the finals, defeated DR Congo 1-0, maintaining their perfect record.
