“Right after the match, the atmosphere in the dressing room was heavy with disappointment, as we all know we have the potential to perform much better,” Amad shared in an interview with MUTV.
“We believed we could secure a win today, so it’s really disappointing to walk away with just one point. But we have to focus on the next game now.”

“Although we managed to make it 4-3, it’s still disappointing that we didn’t come away with a win. If we had won, we’d be in a better position on the league table. The Reds are now turning their attention to Sunday’s Premier League matchup away against Aston Villa, but they will be without Amad and Mbeumo, as both will be participating in the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
