“I’ve experienced some wild weeks before, but honestly, this one didn’t feel particularly chaotic. It felt manageable and somewhat normal, to be truthful. From an outside perspective, it may appear very different, but everyone at the club has been incredibly supportive. My coaching team, the staff behind the scenes, and the players have all been fantastic. It hasn’t been the whirlwind it might seem. We had a tight timeframe to prepare the players for today, and they’ve been remarkable, adapting to the information and new faces so well, emotionally and otherwise.”

“I don’t want to get overly consumed by the concept of DNA, but we aimed to perform well today. We sought to incorporate elements into our game that would elevate our performance, focusing on strong defensive play as a complete team. We felt we posed a threat when we had possession and during transitions, but when we did regain the ball, I believe we looked dangerous. It may sound simplistic, but I couldn’t have asked for more from the players. They put in maximum effort. With just three days to prepare, they embraced the tactical directives and managed the emotional aspects just as we had hoped.”
