“The club consistently includes option years in their contract negotiations, and my contract follows the same pattern,” Marc stated when asked about the status of the quartet’s contract options during the winter break.
“This arrangement allows for open dialogue between both parties, and the decision to exercise those options is intended to create a period for negotiating potential new contracts.
“This approach has been standard practice with those four players. We are in ongoing discussions behind the scenes, and Matt [Johnson, director of women’s football] and his team are diligently working on this.”
