Highlights of Cristiano Ronaldo

It was another disappointing evening for Manchester City, who dropped crucial points in the title race after a 1-1 draw with Brighton. However, it marked a significant milestone for Erling Haaland, who scored his 150th goal for the club. With this result, City now has three consecutive draws and faces stiff competition from Arsenal, who are now clear favorites to clinch the Premier League title. Since joining from Borussia Dortmund for €60 million in 2022, Haaland has proven to be a remarkable asset for the team.
Haaland has already secured two Premier League titles and the Champions League, but it is his extraordinary goalscoring capability that sets him apart from others. He is the most prolific scorer in the world and has set numerous records this season, including being the quickest player to reach 100 Premier League goals and the fastest to hit 50 in the Champions League. However, did he achieve the milestone of 150 goals for a single club faster than anyone else this century? Let’s find out!
The Fastest Players to Reach 150 Club Goals
The answer is no. It took Haaland 179 games to achieve this feat, while one player managed to do it significantly faster: Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese legend reached 150 goals for Real Madrid in just 149 games, averaging over one goal per match. As shown in the graphic below, Zlatan Ibrahimović ranks third, having taken 176 games to reach the same landmark for PSG.

The top ten list is filled with some of the greatest attacking talents from the past three decades, representing clubs from all the top five leagues. Robert Lewandowski and Kylian Mbappé complete the top five, while Edinson Cavani is yet another PSG player featured. Ciro Immobile is the sole representative from Serie A, scoring 150 goals for Lazio in 217 games. Interestingly, Lionel Messi narrowly misses the top ten, ranking 12th among the fastest scorers.
