Revealed: United's New Kit for the Burnley Match

Over the years, United’s men have showcased a variety of colors during their visits to Burnley’s East Lancashire home in the Premier League, with white being the predominant choice in our nine matches there.

White was first worn in 2014 during a goalless draw where Angel Di Maria made his debut. Since then, it has featured in more successful outings, including a 2-0 victory in 2017 and a narrow 1-0 win during our latest visit in 2023, highlighted by a stunning volley from Bruno Fernandes.

In 2021, the team also found success in a white-and-black striped kit, and we’ve even had a white goalkeeper’s shirt worn at Turf Moor, as Ben Foster donned this unconventional color for a keeper during our first Premier League visit in the 2009/10 season.

On that occasion, our outfield players made their competitive debut in a black away kit with a v-shaped blue stripe, though it resulted in a 1-0 defeat, marking United’s only loss at the ground in the modern Premier League era.
