Cunha recognized the significance of the Roses rivalry, particularly the physical nature of the match.
“Playing here is never easy, and this game means a lot to everyone involved. Securing a point here is a good outcome,” he stated.
“It was a tough battle; we knew what they would bring to the game, and they certainly did everything they could to secure a win. I’ve definitely earned some battle scars,” the former Wolves player continued.
With today’s performance, Cunha has now scored three goals in five appearances, capitalizing on an opportunity just three minutes after Leeds took the lead.
